240
Belted Nitro Express This round,
designed by Holland & Holland around 1923 for use in bolt action
magazine rifles, is also referred to as the 240 Apex. It was extremely
popular in both England and Scotland as red deer round, and is still
used today in some of the very fine rifles by the original designers.
